All of which is reportedly earned through gameplay. While this was just a theatrical trailer and no gameplay has been shown yet, on Thursday June 18th, EA play live will air a gameplay trailer showcasing a bit of what the game can do.

Could Halloween Kills be on the edge of a delay?

Halloween Kills, the sequel to 2018’s Halloween from Blumhouse studios could possibly face the unfortunate demise that so many other films have had to come to terms with this year, by being delayed into 2021. Jason Blum head of Blumhouse was quoted by ET saying,

“I don’t know how it’s coming out but I’m hoping and still pushing for it to come out still in October”

With this quote in mind, there is still a chance that we’ll get to see Michael Myers once again grace the big screen this year. However, we do have to keep in mind that it may not happen, and that we have to wait an entire year to see what kind of gore and madness awaits us.

Godzilla vs. Kong has been delayed.

Earlier today unfortunate news was released that Godzilla vs. Kong has been delayed. The film directed by Adam Wingard had been set for a November 2020 release date has now been moved to May 21st, 2021. Wingard shared a post on his personal Instagram account stating,

“To all Godzilla and Kong fans, I know you’re pumped to see how the battle of the century will turn out, but with all that is going on, we’re going to have to wait a bit longer to see who will emerge victorious. Find the BIGGEST screen possible to see Kong and Godzilla face off May 2021!”

The news of this delay is upsetting, and while we have to sit here with our anticipation growing ever so large, waiting for these two titans to battle it out, we can only have and hold onto hope that the pay off will be worth it. In the mean time keep an eye out for anymore breaking Godzilla and Kong news.

PlayStation 5 reveal

Today was the day that many, like myself have been waiting for. Sony’s PS5 the Future of Gaming reveal event. While they did reveal quite a bit, personally it felt very underwhelming. Everything from the bulk of the games, to the long awaited first look at the PlayStation 5, it all seemed like something you would expect from an acid trip. That’s not to say that there weren’t a few good things that came out of this reveal. We got a look at a new Spider-Man game where you play as Miles Morales, a terrifying glance at Resident Evil VIII, and the return of Ratchet & Clank in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart just to name a few.

Then, came the first look at the PlayStation 5 reportedly being released Holiday 2020. The reveal of the PS5 came as a bit of a shock not only to myself, but to many others watching around the world. Sony waited until the end of the show to do their big reveal and I don’t believe that this is what anyone was expecting. What had come to light was an all white PlayStation 5 and all white accessories. The design of the console itself, however different, is a little goofy. Towards the end of the reveal trailer, Sony also shared an all digital model. So, for those of you that want to switch to only digital downloads, Sony has now given that option. The design of the all digital console is a bit sleeker than the model containing a disk drive.

At the end of it all we were still left with two big questions. When is the release date, and how much is this new gen console going to retail for? Hopefully, with a first look at the console itself we will have those questions answered for us in the coming weeks. In the meantime keep an eye out for more gaming news, and check out the PlayStation 5 down below.
